💡 Essential Survival Tips & Strategies
Surviving isn’t just about fighting; it’s about being smart.
- Scrap is Finite: This is the most important rule. Outside of The Stronghold, scrap does not respawn. Do not waste it. Plan your crafting carefully, prioritizing essentials like tools, weapons, and key machines.
- Farming is Overpowered: The Farmer class can create an infinite food supply. Pumpkins are the best food source (restoring 4 hunger). Carrots can be turned into fuel using the Biofuel Processor.
- The Deer is a Run-Ender: The terrifying deer enemy is a major threat. A strong flashlight can sometimes stun it, but your best defense is to avoid it or get inside a building. Be warned: it can sometimes glitch through walls!
- Beware of Glitches: Technology can be unreliable. The Temporal Machine (for skipping night) can sometimes fail to work, leaving you to face the horrors of the dark. Be prepared!
- Loot Everything: Check every nook and cranny. A single bolt could be the last piece you need for a critical upgrade. Early game houses you forgot to search might hold the key to victory.
