The fifth week of the Bloxers summer event has arrived, and it’s making a splash with a massive content update that introduces an explosive fruit rework, treasure-filled whirlpools, and a complete overhaul of the game’s fishing system. The level cap has also been raised to 2,800, giving veteran players a new mountain to climb.

This guide will break down every single detail of the Week 5 update, from the devastating new moves for the Bomb fruit to the best strategies for winning the weekend-long Fishing Tournament.

An Explosive Overhaul: The Bomb Fruit Rework

The often-underestimated Bomb fruit has been completely redesigned with a powerful and versatile new moveset. What was once a niche choice is now a tactical powerhouse capable of controlling the battlefield and setting up devastating combos.

### [M1] Projectile Bomb

The Bomb fruit now has a basic M1 attack. You can either tap it to quickly throw a small projectile bomb or charge it up for a slightly larger blast. This gives Bomb users a reliable way to poke at enemies from a distance, interrupt attacks, and apply constant pressure without committing to a major cooldown.

### [Z] Target Explosion

This skill grants you incredible precision. Upon activation, you can drag an explosion marker across the ground to position the blast exactly where you want it. This is perfect for hitting evasive opponents, catching players hiding behind cover, or setting up traps from a safe distance. Release the button, and the designated area erupts.

### [X] Sticky Bomb

A fantastic tool for combo-oriented players, the Sticky Bomb skill attaches a bomb directly to an opponent’s head. After a three-second countdown, the bomb detonates. The most interesting part of this skill is that the explosion blasts the enemy directly towards you, pulling them in and setting them up perfectly for a follow-up combo with your other weapons.

### [C] Minefield Mastery

The classic mine-laying ability returns but with a significant tactical upgrade. The standard use of the C skill still allows you to lay sneaky mines on the ground that detonate when an enemy steps on them. However, the skill now has a second function: tapping the C key will throw out a cluster of bombs that instantly trigger every single mine you’ve placed on the field. Furthermore, all of your other skills (except for the X skill) will also detonate any nearby mines, allowing you to create complex traps and control huge areas of the battlefield.

### [V] Ultimate Gamble

The self-destruct skill is back and more dangerous than ever. This new V skill still damages you as you charge it, but the visuals have been updated to show your character’s head transforming into a massive, growing bomb. The longer you hold the button, the more your HP drains and the larger the resulting explosion becomes. Be warned: if you get too greedy and hold it for too long, the explosion will instantly defeat you, making it a true high-risk, high-reward finishing move.

### [F] Bombardment Roulette

This new F skill operates like a game of Russian roulette, offering high damage potential at a significant risk. The ability has a unique cooldown bar that is either white or red. When the bar is white, the skill is safe to use. However, if you spam the ability and use it while the cooldown bar is red, the explosions will start damaging your own HP bar. This forces players to pay close attention and decide if the extra damage is worth the self-inflicted pain.

New Summer Gacha Skins

To go along with the rework, three new Bomb fruit skins have been added to the Summer Gacha:

• Thermite: A fiery skin with blazing hot, anime-inspired colors.
• Nuclear: A glowing skin with a radioactive green and yellow color scheme.
• Oreo: A clean and stylish blue and white skin that has quickly become a fan favorite.

New Event: Golden Whirlpools & Fishing Overhaul

The Pain event is now officially over, replaced by a new, sea-based activity: Golden Whirlpools.

### How Golden Whirlpools Work

Every hour, a Golden Whirlpool will spawn somewhere in the seas. Players must rush to these locations and begin fishing within them. If you successfully fish up a treasure chest, you’ll be rewarded with a Summer Chest filled with valuable tokens. Be quick, because as soon as one player successfully fishes up the treasure, the whirlpool vanishes for everyone on the server.

### Submerged Island Expansion and Mythical Fish

The Submerged Island has also received an expansion, making it feel more alive with new sea creatures like octopuses, squids, jellyfish, and the massive Luma Whale. This update also introduces a thrilling new fishing mechanic. While fishing, your catch can be suddenly interrupted by a Mythical fish, such as the Leviathan or Gravel Head.

This triggers a second, much more difficult fishing battle. If you manage to win this unexpected fight, you will successfully haul up the Mythical monster itself, which is one of the most valuable catches in the game. You’ll have a higher chance of triggering these encounters inside the new Golden Whirlpools.

### Weekend Fishing Tournament

A special Fishing Tournament will be live this weekend for 48 hours across all three seas simultaneously.

• Objective: Catch the new event-exclusive fish, the Golden Carp.
• How to Compete: Bring your three biggest Golden Carp to the Tournament NPC to have your score locked in. The bigger the fish, the higher your rank.
• Rewards: Every single participant will receive a Fruit Box just for playing. However, the higher you climb the leaderboard, the more prizes you will earn. The grand prize winner in first place will receive a staggering 99 Fruit Boxes and a shiny, exclusive trophy.
