Are you ready for the premier diving event in Australia? The GO Diving Show ANZ is returning to Sydney’s Olympic Park on September 6-7. This is more than just a conference; it’s a fully-fledged diving event packed with interactive features and amazing speakers. It’s a fantastic showcase of our underwater world, perfect for everyone from beginners to seasoned tech divers. The show features a stellar lineup of speakers, with a focus on local heroes. The Main Stage will be hosted by acclaimed underwater photographer Todd Thimios, who will also be speaking. You can also hear from Sydney diving expert Marco Bordieri, tech diving guru Matt Carter, scuba therapy advocate Lyn Leggett, cave diver Josh Richards, and shark conservationist Taylor Ladd-Hudson. The photo stage features Jayne Jenkins and Matty Smith, among others, talking about photography tips and competitions. This year, they have added a trydive pool for those who want to experience scuba diving for the first time. You just need to bring your swimmers and a towel, and all the equipment is provided. For certified divers, you can try out rebreather diving and go bubble-free. The popular virtual reality wreck-diving zone is back, and a new VR cave-diving experience for Mount Gambier’s Tank Cave has been added. It’s a great way to explore without any gear or limits. Don’t forget that Sunday, September 7, is Father’s Day, and there will be a special free draw on the Main Stage. Dads have a chance to win a Seiko Prospex Sea diving watch worth $2,800. Tickets are priced at just $12, but if you book now, there’s a 2-for-1 offer, making it only $6 per person. Kids 16 and under get in for free. The show promises an action-packed weekend for the whole family, with plenty of parking and transport options.
