Fairies are special NPCs in Grow A Garden that were introduced during the Fairy Event. These mystical beings are a valuable sight, as interacting with them can grant you unique fruit mutations, event currency, or even be captured for a special item. This guide will cover everything you need to know about finding and interacting with them.

Where to Find Fairies🧚
Fairies don’t have a set location. Instead, they can be found in two main ways:
- Randomly Spawning: They appear randomly throughout the main world map, so keep your eyes peeled as you explore.
- The Fairy World: They are also commonly found within the special Fairy World zone.
What Do Fairies Do? Rewards & Interactions
What you get from a Fairy depends on the situation and how you interact with it. They have three primary functions.
Applying the Glimmering Mutation ✨
Under normal circumstances, simply walking up to a Fairy and interacting with it will provide a fantastic reward. The Fairy will apply the valuable Glimmering mutation to one of the fruits you are currently carrying, chosen at random. This is a great way to get special fruit traits without having to breed for them.
Earning Fairy Points (Event Only)
The Fairies’ behavior changes when special conditions are met. During the “Fairies” weather event or while you are inside the Fairy World, they will no longer apply mutations. Instead, interacting with them will reward you with a random amount of Fairy Points, which is the special currency used for the Fairy Event.
Capturing Fairies with a Net
You don’t always have to just talk to them! If you have a Fairy Net, you can choose to capture a Fairy instead. Successfully catching one will reward you with a Fairy Jar item.
Fairy Appearance
Fairies are easy to spot once you know what you’re looking for. They share the same model as the Pixie creature, appearing as a small, floating ball of light with glowing eyes and large, round wings. They come in a variety of vibrant colors, including red, yellow, blue, and pink.
