Alongside the Beanworks, the Admin Abuse War event offers another exclusive piece of gear for loyal followers of the Elder Bean: the Bean Speaker. This item is a fun, audio-based toy that perfectly fits the quirky theme of the ‘Bean Cultist’ cause. It’s a limited item, so obtaining it during the event is a must for collectors.
Table of Contents
This guide will cover the appearance, usage, and the specific method for obtaining the Bean Speaker, which is identical to the process for getting the Beanworks.
🌱 Appearance
The Bean Speaker has a unique and creative design that I really like. It looks like a tall, green beanstalk produce that has been converted into a radio. It features two antennas sticking out of the top and has four squares that look like speaker grilles—two on the front and two on the back. It’s a fun and whimsical design that matches the event’s theme.
🔊 Usage and Function
The Bean Speaker is an audio device. When I hold it and click, it plays a sound clip of a robotic voice saying the phrase “Bean Or Leave” in different pitches. It’s a silly and fun item to use around the map with other players who have joined the cause.
Interestingly, the item’s in-game description says ‘Launches Fireworks,’ but it doesn’t. This is likely a small bug where the description was mixed up with the Beanworks gear. Just like the Beanworks, the gear disappears from your inventory when you leave the game, so you have to re-equip the avatar to get it back each session.
📦 How to Obtain the Bean Speaker (and Fix the Glitch)
The method for getting the Bean Speaker is the same as for the Beanworks. You must find the Elder Bean NPC and agree to join his cause. This will prompt you to wear the Green Bean outfit, and upon doing so, the Bean Speaker will be placed in your inventory.
It is also affected by the same inventory glitch. If you join the game already wearing the bean costume, the speaker might not appear. The fix is simple: I just switch to another avatar, rejoin the server, and talk to the Elder Bean again to get the items properly.
