Grow A Garden: A Guide to the Corrupted Kitsune Pet

When it comes to high-tier pets, the Corrupted Kitsune is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen. It’s a prismatic pet that was added in the second part of the Zen Event. Unfortunately, it’s no longer obtainable, but it’s a legendary part of the game’s history.

I remember trying to get it from the Kitsune Chest or the Exotic Kitsune Chest. The hatch chance was only 1% from either, so it was incredibly rare.

🦊 Appearance and Design

The look of the Corrupted Kitsune is an inverted color scheme of the regular Kitsune, which I think is a brilliant design choice. It has nine tails, a black body, and black paws, with blue stripes on its legs and tail ends.

The white nose and the mask-like facial feature, similar to the Raccoon pet, really complete the mysterious look.

🔮 The Nine-Tailed Curse Trait

The real power of this pet comes from its trait, the Nine-Tailed Curse. It was a game-changer for my mutation farming. Every 20 minutes and 56 seconds, it launches cursed energy at 9 different fruits.

This trait could apply some incredibly powerful mutations:

  • Corrupt Chakra: Applied with a ~20% chance and gave a 15x multiplier.
  • Corrupt Foxfire Chakra: A very rare chance for a massive 90x multiplier.
  • Harmonized Mutations: If you combined these with mutations from a regular Kitsune, you could get the Harmonized Chakra (35x) and Harmonized Foxfire Chakra (190x) mutations.
