The Red Fox is a really special pet in my collection because it’s one of the few that got upgraded from Mythical to a Divine tier[cite: 2]. [cite_start]It was added in the Blood Moon Update and has a very unique ability that interacts with other players[cite: 2]. [cite_start]You can get it from a Mythical Egg, but the hatch chance is a slim 1.5%[cite: 2].

It has a high hunger stat of 35,000, so it can stay active for a long time[cite: 2]. [cite_start]Its appearance is a blocky, bright orange-red body with black legs and a white-tipped tail, which looks great roaming around my farm[cite: 2].
🤫 The Scoundrel Trait
This is where the Red Fox truly shines. [cite_start]Its trait, Scoundrel, allows it to help you get more seeds[cite: 2]. [cite_start]Here’s how I’ve seen it work:
- Every 6 minutes and 50 seconds, the Red Fox goes to a random player’s garden and attempts to ‘steal’ (which actually duplicates) a seed to give to the owner[cite: 2]. [cite_start]
- If it succeeds, it will attempt to steal a seed again[cite: 2]. [cite_start]
- I’ve noticed it only works on standard Seed Shop plants and won’t steal event or single-harvest crops[cite: 2].
💡 Trivia and History
What I find cool is that the Red Fox is one of only a few pets that can directly interact with other players’ farms[cite: 2]. [cite_start]It was originally a Mythical pet, but its tier was changed to Divine in Update 1.14.0, and its ability was buffed at the same time[cite: 2].
