When it comes to high-value, top-tier crops in Grow a Garden, the Elder Strawberry is one of the most sought-after. This multi-harvest Prismatic crop, added during the Zen Event, is a fantastic investment for any late-game player. Its high price in the Seed Shop is matched by its incredible return value, making it a true prize for dedicated farmers.

As someone who loves farming high-tier crops, the Elder Strawberry is a personal favorite. This guide will cover its appearance, the many ways to obtain it, and some of the interesting bugs and features associated with it.
🌱 Appearance and Characteristics
The Elder Strawberry lives up to its name. The plant is a taller, thicker version of the regular Strawberry plant. The produce itself looks like a real-life strawberry with a red to dark pinkish color and white dots for seeds. The seed has a similar pinkish-red gradient.
One of the coolest features I’ve found is that the fruit glows for a few seconds when you touch it while it’s still on the plant. The only other crops that do this are the Moonglow and the Gleamroot.
📦 How to Obtain the Elder Strawberry
Getting an Elder Strawberry seed is a challenge, as it is one of the rarest and most expensive seeds from the Seed Shop. However, there are several ways to acquire it:
- Seed Shop: It has a very low 0.25% (1 in 405) chance to be in stock, where it can be purchased for 70,000,000 Sheckles or 957 Robux.
- Pet Abilities: It can be stolen (duplicated) by a Red Fox, yielded by a Snail, or very rarely dug up by a dog-type pet.
- Other Methods: You can also get a seed from a Lucky Harvest or a Silver Prismatic Seed Pack.
💡 Key Stats and Trivia
The Elder Strawberry is a top-tier Prismatic crop with excellent value. Here are its stats and some fun facts:
- Average Value: 90,000 Sheckles
