Grow A Garden – A Guide to the Grape Crop

The Grape is a truly special crop in Grow a Garden, and one that I was very excited to finally purchase from the Seed Shop. It holds the distinction of being the very first Divine-tier seed to be introduced to the game, all the way back in the first update. As a multi-harvest berry, it’s a fantastic long-term investment for any serious farmer.

This guide will cover the Grape’s appearance, its rare obtainment method, and some of the interesting glitches and facts associated with this top-tier plant.

🍇 Appearance

The Grape produce is designed as clusters of round, purple bodies joined together, just like a real bunch of grapes. I’ve learned that the old model used to have studs on the grapes, but it has since been updated to a smoother look. One of the most interesting things about the plant is that an overgrown Grape vine can actually extend into another player’s garden plot!

📦 How to Obtain Grapes

Getting a Grape seed is a true challenge, as it is one of the rarest items in the Seed Shop. I had to check the shop for days before I finally saw it in stock.

  • Seed Shop: It has a very low 1% (1 in 100) chance to be in stock. When it appears, it can be purchased for 850,000 Sheckles or 599 Robux.
  • Other Methods: Like many other crops, it can also be obtained through a Lucky Harvest or the abilities of pets like the Red Fox and the Snail.

💡 Key Stats and Trivia

As a Divine crop, the Grape has solid stats and some interesting history. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Average Value: 7,850 Sheckles
  • Average Weight: 3 kg
  • Huge Chance: 0.50%
  • Trivia: There is a rare glitch known as the “Dead Grape Vine,” where a fully grown vine will not produce any grapes. If this happens to you, the only solution I’ve found is to reclaim the vine with the Reclaimer tool and plant it again.
