The Maneki-neko, also known as the fortune cat, is an Uncommon pet that was available for a limited time during the Zen Event. It’s no longer obtainable, which makes it a nice little collector’s item. I got mine from a Kitsune Chest, where it had about a 34% chance of appearing.

It has a very low hunger of 1,777. Its appearance is based on the classic Japanese figurine: a white cat with a red collar, raising its paw to bring good fortune.

The Maneki-neko’s trait is a temporary boost that can help you save your crops. Here’s how I’ve seen it work:
- Every 2 minutes, the cat waves its paw.
- For the next 10 seconds, you gain an 8% chance to have a fruit refunded to your inventory when you harvest it.
- Just like other refund abilities, I’ve noticed that rarer fruits have a lower chance of being refunded.
