🦚 Appearance and Design
The Peacock is an incredibly colorful and uniquely built pet. It has a long neck, a royal blue body, and a beautiful crest on its head. I love the details on its wings and tail, which are a vibrant green with sandy tan specks on each feather. Its legs are a sunny yellow, matching the spots around its eyes, which have a feminine, eyelash-like shape.
The design is intricate and really captures the majestic look of a peacock, making it a pet you’ll be proud to show off on your plot.
✨ The ‘Utter Beauty’ Trait
The Peacock’s true value lies in its passive ability, Utter Beauty. This trait is a fantastic support skill that benefits all of your other pets. Here’s how it works:
- Approximately every 10 minutes, the Peacock will fan its magnificent feathers.
- When it does this, all nearby pets will have their ability cooldowns advanced by about 60 seconds.
This is a significant boost that I find incredibly helpful for getting more frequent activations from my other high-value pets, like my Dragonfly or Red Fox. The ability’s cooldown can be further reduced by pet toys or the Nihonzaru pet, but as of a recent update, its minimum cooldown is now capped at 15 seconds.
