As an avid collector of pets in Grow a Garden, I spend a lot of my time at the Pet Eggs shop. This is the central hub for everything related to pets in the game, run by the helpful NPC, Raphael. It’s where you can buy a variety of pet eggs, sell pets you no longer need, and even upgrade your pet capacity.
Understanding how the shop and its NPC work is crucial for any player looking to build a powerful team of pets. This guide will cover the shop’s functions, the different eggs available, and the dialogue options with Raphael to help you get the most out of your pet-collecting journey.
🥚 The Egg Shop and its Stock
The Pet Eggs shop itself is a charming stand with a yellow and white striped awning. I always keep an eye on the egg stock, which refreshes every 30 minutes with a new selection. If I’m feeling impatient, there’s also an option to pay Robux to refresh the stock on demand.
The shop offers a variety of eggs, each with a different chance of appearing:
- Common Egg: 99% stock chance
- Uncommon Egg: 54% stock chance
- Rare Egg: 24% stock chance
- Mythical Egg: 10% stock chance
- Paradise Egg: 7% stock chance
- Bug Egg: 3% stock chance
💬 Interacting with Raphael the NPC
Raphael offers several dialogue options that provide key pet-related services. I’ve used all of them at some point, and they are all very useful.
- “Show me the Egg Shop”: This opens the main shop interface where you can purchase the currently stocked eggs.
- “I want to sell my pet”: If I’m holding a pet, this option allows me to sell it directly to Raphael for Sheckles.
- “How much is this worth?”: This is a helpful option to check the sale value of a pet without actually selling it.
- “How do my pets get older?”: Raphael explains that pets age up over time in the garden and by feeding them.
- “Show me pet info”: This is one of the most important functions. It allows you to upgrade your pet slots by trading in high-level pets. For example, the first upgrade requires a level 20 pet, the second a level 30, and so on, up to level 75. It also lets you view the rarities of non-exclusive pet eggs.
