The Pterodactyl is a Mythical pet that I wish was still available in the game. It was obtainable from the Dinosaur Egg with a 3% hatch chance. Added on July 5th, 2025, it was a fantastic pet for both utility and farming.

With a hunger of 40,000, it could stay active for a long time. Its appearance was quite charming, with a blue body, yellow sting, and light-blue beak and legs.
💨 Sky Reptile & Air Time Traits
What made the Pterodactyl so great were its two passive traits. I found both of them to be incredibly useful.
- Sky Reptile: It would occasionally apply the Windstruck mutation to about 4 nearby fruits. It also had a greater than 19.06% chance to apply the Twisted mutation as well.
- Air Time: This trait granted my character an additional 14.39% jump height, which made navigating my large garden so much easier and more fun.
💡 A Special Mutation Combo
I discovered a powerful trick with this pet. If the Pterodactyl managed to apply both the Windstruck and Twisted mutations to the same fruit, it would create a new mutation called Tempestuous, which gave a 19x value bonus.
This synergy made it one of the most strategic pets for mutation farmers like me.
