The Main Attraction: The Fall Activities (Obstacle Course)
The centerpiece of the Part 2 update is a brand-new type of gameplay for Grow a Garden: the Fall Activities Obby.
A New Way to Play
This new activity is a leaf blower-powered obstacle course (obby) that will reportedly occur every 30 minutes. When the event starts, players will be transported to a special map that takes place high in the sky, separate from their garden.
The objective is to navigate a series of floating platforms and obstacles to reach the top of a tower. If you fall, don’t worry—you will safely respawn back at your garden to try again on the next cycle. To keep the challenge fresh and to prevent players from using macros to automate it, there will be multiple different layouts for the obby.
The Challenge and the Tools
The core mechanic of this obby revolves around using a leaf blower to give yourself vertical boosts to navigate the course. However, as many players know, the current leaf blower in the game provides mostly horizontal movement.
This leak strongly suggests that a new or upgraded leaf blower with a powerful vertical lift will be introduced. As we’ll see later, the leaked Super Leaf Blower is almost certainly the intended tool for mastering this new challenge.
The Rewards
For players who successfully reach the top of the tower, a special reward orb awaits. In the leaked video, the player was rewarded with 2x Master Sprinklers, a very valuable prize. This suggests that the obby will be a fantastic new source for high-end gear and other rare items.
The New Fall Pet Collection (Shop Pets)
Part 2 will introduce four brand-new pets that can be purchased from the event shop. These are unlocked by completing a certain number of the new Fall Activities.
- Salmon (Rare): This pet’s ability is called “Salmon School,” and it provides a bonus experience boost for every other Salmon you have in your garden. This is similar to the Mochi Mouse but with a unique self-synergy. For players focused on the endgame grind of aging up pets, creating a full “school” of Salmon could be an incredibly fast way to level them all up simultaneously.
- Woodpecker (Legendary): The Woodpecker’s ability is “Woodpecking.” It will occasionally consume a “woody type” fruit from your garden, take it to your crafting table, and reduce the current crafting time. Depending on how significant the time reduction is, a team of Woodpeckers could become essential for players who are mass-crafting high-end items, potentially saving hours of waiting.
- Mallard (Mythical): This pet has one of the most unique and hilarious abilities in the game: “Southbound.” Once every hour, on the hour, the Mallard will literally migrate south, disappearing from your garden. When it disappears, it will leave a free random gear item in your inventory. The only catch is that the Mallard returns to your inventory, not your garden, meaning you have to manually place it back out every hour. The potential rewards could be incredible, but you’ll have to decide if the constant micromanagement is worth it.
- Red Panda (Divine): This is the star of the new shop pets. The Red Panda’s ability is “Adorable Haggler.” It will occasionally go to the Seed Shop or the Gear Shop and restock a single, random item. The leak specifies that rarer items have a rarer chance of being restocked. This ability is a potential game-changer. What is its cooldown? Can a full team of eight Red Pandas keep the shop constantly refreshed? Could this be a new way to get ultra-rare seeds like the Urchin Plant or limited-time gear to appear in the shop on demand? This is poised to be one of the most powerful and valuable pets in the entire game.

The Fall Seed Pack
