The cause was a battle with glioma of the central nervous system. Born Kelley Lynne Klebenow in Cincinnati on July 10, 1992, her love for storytelling began at a young age after receiving a mini video camera for her birthday. This early passion led to acting in commercials as a child and earning an award from the Tisch School of the Arts for her performance in The Elephant Garden (2008).
After graduating from Hinsdale Central High School in 2010, she pursued her passion formally, earning a bachelor’s degree in Cinematography from the Dodge College of Film at Chapman University in 2014. She also channeled her creativity into writing, co-writing several feature scripts with her mother, Kristen.
How She Will Be Remembered by Loved Ones

According to her family, Kelley Mack was an accomplished college tennis player who loved hiking, pickleball, biking, and playing the piano. Her other loves included dark chocolate, sports, bourbon, popcorn, fantasy football, and country music.
“Her vibrant spirit, creative passion and dedication to storytelling left an indelible mark on those who knew her and the audiences she captivated through her work,” her family said in a statement.
She is survived by her parents, Kristen and Lindsay; her sister Kathryn; her brother and fellow actor, Parker; her grandparents, Lois and Larry; and her boyfriend, Logan.
How to Pay Respects
For those wishing to honor her memory, a remembrance of her life is scheduled for 1 p.m. on August 16th at the Glendale Lyceum in Glendale, Ohio. Her family also plans to hold a celebration of her life in Los Angeles for local friends and colleagues at a later date.
