White’s seahorses are endemic to the east coast of Australia, and Chowder Bay is one of their strongholds. Unfortunately, White’s seahorses are endangered due to habitat loss and other threats. But there’s hope! A captive-breeding program has been successful in releasing tagged seahorses back into the wild. These conservation efforts are crucial for their survival, and it’s heartwarming to see the positive impact.
