This guide shows how to install unification mod for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition.

How to Install Unification Mod
Notice
There is some polishing that can be done but its playable. The only issues are the following:
- The in game the UI is set to the original games resolution but its very much playable.
- Some UI things in the menu are straight broken: The big one being Army Painter.
Downloading Mods
Step 1: Download all the requirements:
Step 2: Installation
The installation location to get unification working is the games default install location. So that should be:
YOURDRIVE\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Definitive Edition
DO NOT DO IT VIA THE APP DATA METHOD!
First download all the files and ensure the Unifcation mod rar folder is in your steam directory. Again for reference:
YOURDRIVE\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Definitive Edition
Move the Unification Installer into the games steam folder to. Again for reference:
YOURDRIVE\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Definitive Edition
Finally install DOW Definitive Edition (DE)Mod Manager 1.0.0.1 directly into the games install location again for reference:
YOURDRIVE\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Definitive Edition
You should now be done with the installation portion.
Step 3: Set up DOW Mod Manager
Run the DOW Mod Manager and select the appropriate Mods you wish to run (Unification) from the currently installed mods list and make sure your current DE directory field at the top says:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Definitive Edition
Make sure the required Mods Field on the right hand side shows all Required Mods are green.
Step 4: Verifacation and Fun
Run the game from the Mod Manager UI by clicking “START MOD”.
- Open a 1v1 Skirmish game and play for a bit just to make sure everything is working okay.
- Enjoy and Praise His Name in the Divine Light of Adeptus Soritas!
NOTE: I have not tested submods but hopefully they work for you.
